After a long process she arrived, perfect and shimmering, introducing herself as Eldrid. She has been  sitting in my drawer for a few months, waiting for the right time to come out. Now that the darkness of winter is upon us and Christmas is approaching, many peope enjoy having an angel nearby. Angels bring compassion, and light to the darkness. The name Eldrid is an old Norse one, and means "beautiful fire", which couldn't have suited better in my opinion.
